• There are three ways to bet on MLB money line:
• Action: Action: “Action” means that your team only has to win, no matter the pitchers that start the game. It’s only a team vs. team wager. If one of the original pitchers does not start, the price on your play will be automatically re-adjusted based on the new line, which may affect payout but never affects risk.
• Listed pitchers: In order for your wager to have action, both listed pitchers must start the game. The bet will be a “No action”, if either one of the pitchers or both of them do not start the game.
• List one pitcher: the pitcher that you pick as listed must start the game for the wager to have action. The wager will be a “No action”, if your chosen pitcher does not start the game. If the other pitcher listed does not start the game your bet will still stand respecting your specified pitcher. If the pitcher from the opposite team is changed, your ML price will be re-adjusted with revised odds based on the new line for the pitcher change that occurred.
• If a game is called or suspended in extra innings, the score will be determined after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the score is determined at the time the game is called.

What Is the Danger Zone System?

The Danger Zone is a new system used by Golden8Sports to process live soccer bets. Due to the fast-flowing nature of soccer, handling live bets can be a difficult process, so in order to provide bettors with a clear and fair system the pitch is divided into zones - Danger and Safe. Which zone the ball is in when a bet is placed determines whether bets can be accepted.

What Are the Different Zones?
The Danger Zone applies to the area from edge of the centre circle to the goal-line when the attacking team has possession. See images 1 & 3.

The Safe Zone applies when a team has possession in their own half, and up to the far side of the centre circle in the opposition's half. See image 2 & 4.

Any bets placed when the ball is in the Danger Zone are placed into a waiting state until it leaves this area and enters the Safe Zone, at which point they will be accepted.
Events that will lead to a Rejected Bet.
Events that will lead to a bet being rejected when the ball is in the Danger Zone:
• A goal
• A red card

Why Do We Use The Danger Zone System?

The Danger Zone system is employed as way of demonstrating that Golden8Sports treat all bets equally. All Danger Zone bets are placed in a 'pool' and then accepted or rejected as a group, rather than on an individual basis.
The Danger Zone may be unfamiliar to European bettors, but it is standard practice in Asia, where its use has helped bring clarity and credibility to live soccer betting.

What Does The Danger Zone Mean For Live Soccer Bettors?

Live soccer bets can be placed at Golden8Sports in the same way as always. We will notify you at the point of submitting a bet if it has been accepted, or if it is waiting due to the Danger Zone. When a live soccer bet is placed, your balance will be reduced by that amount regardless of whether the bet is the Danger Zone or not. If the bet is subsequently rejected, your balance will be credited for the relevant amount.

Soccer Propositions:

• For proposition bets concerning home vs away goals on a specific day in a specific league/competition, the exact number of matches must be played on that day and wagers will be decided based on two halves of 45 minutes each and any time the referee adds to compensate for injuries and other stoppages. Goals scored in periods of extra time or penalty shootouts do not count.
• For proposition bets concerning home vs away goals for a given League or competition on a given day, the team listed on top in a neutral field game (denoted by "(n)") will be considered the home team.

Player Proposition:

1. A proposition bet concerning if a player will score, or not score, in a specific match includes regulation time (plus injury time) only. Own goals do not count. For wagers to have action, the player must start the match. Bets on any player who does not start the match will be cancelled.
2. Hat Trick and Brace Propositions: For grading purposes, only goals in regulation time, or any time the referee adds to compensate for injuries and other stoppages, are included. Own goals do not count.

Yellow Card Propositions:

• For grading purposes, only yellow cards are included for Total Yellow Card Propositions. When a player receives a second yellow card (and as a result, a red card), the player will have been shown two yellow cards.
• If a player receives a straight red card, he will not necessarily have been shown a yellow card previously in the match. Therefore, a straight red card is not included in the grading of Total Yellow Card propositions.
• For example, a game with two yellow cards and a straight red card would be graded as two yellow cards; Or, a game with two players with one yellow card each and one player with a red card (as a result of two yellow cards for the same player) would be graded as four yellow cards.
• For betting purposes all yellow cards shown to any player count (this includes those playing or sitting on the bench). Any cards shown to “non-playing” staff do not count.
• Yellow cards during periods of extra time are not included. Only Yellow cards shown during regulation time, or any time the referee adds to compensate for injuries and other stoppages, are included.
• Corner Kick Proposition: For grading purposes, Corner Kicks which happen in periods of extra time are not included. Only Corner Kicks which take place during regulation time, or any time the referee adds to compensate for injuries and other stoppages, are included.
• Offsides Proposition: For grading purposes, Offsides which happen in periods of extra time are not included. Only Offsides which take place during regulation time, or any time the referee adds to compensate for injuries and other stoppages, are included.
• Exact Score, Total number of Goals, Team Number of Goals, Both Teams to Score, Double Chance and any Handicap Propositions: For grading purposes, only goals in regulation time, or any time the referee adds to compensate for injuries and other stoppages, are included.
• In any match with a forfeit, all wagers will have no action, regardless of how the governing body of that league scores a forfeit.
• For proposition wagers on which team will score first, only goals in regulation time or any added injury time will count. If there are zero goals in regulation/injury time, then all wagers on this proposition will have no action and be refunded.
• For halftime/fulltime score propositions, only goals in regulation time or any added injury time will count. If match does not go full time, then all wagers on this proposition will be refunded.
• For correct score propositions, only goals in regulation time or any added injury time will count. If the score is 0-0 in Full Time, then no goals or exact score of 0-0 will be declared the winner.
• A Clean Sheet will be defined as a team not allowing a goal in regulation or added injury time only. Any goals allowed in Extra Time or Penalty shootouts will not affect this wager.
• For "will a team have a clean sheet and win" propositions, the team must have a clean sheet(as defined above) and be ahead at the end of regulation/injury time. If the team is not ahead at the end of regulation/injury time, then the related proposition will be graded NO.
• Entire Tournament Propositions
1. Entire Tournament Propositions (for example World Cup or EURO): For grading purposes, the following propositions which are related to the activity over the entire tournament (and not individual games) will include extra time, but not penalty shoot-outs:
1.) Total goals in the entire tournament by individuals,
2.) Who will score more goals matchups between individuals
3.) Total goals scored by each country over the entire tournament,
4.) Who will score more goals matchups between countries,
5.) Will a hat trick be scored in any game of the tournament, and
6.) First Time Winner (EURO 2012): For grading purposes, the following countries are considered to have had a previous EURO title: Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Russia and Spain.
2. Players to be sent off over the entire tournament for Red and Yellow cards: Please note that unlike individual game rules, if a player receives a yellow or red card after the final whistle of regulation, these cards will count toward proposition for entire tournament total. Red and Yellow cards received during extra time or during penalty shoot-outs also will count toward the entire tournament total.
3. In the case of a tie for the "Top goalscorer" proposition, the most number of assists from a player will be used as the first tiebreaker. If there is still a tie, then the least minutes played will be used as second tiebreaker.
4. For all "Who will score more goals" matchups, both players must play in the first game of their respective team for bets to have action.
5. For all propositions concerning an individual player's over/under goals for the entire tournament, that player must play in his team's first game of the tournament for bets to have action.
